Our Story

Parker Restaurant is a family restaurant that stems from humble beginnings. Arriving on Singapore's shores in 1999, Mr and Mrs Park first opened the Korean restaurant in 2000 at Boat Quay, shifting then to Long House and finally Thompson road when Long House ceased operations. To date, the family restaurant has been operating for an astounding 20 years, with Mr and Mrs Park creating cuisines in the kitchen while their son, Jin Sub, waits tables. It might come as a surprise to some but Jin Sub, despite his adolescence then, was actually waiting tables since the restaurant's opening date. Jin Sub has been toggling between school and his duties at the restaurant ever since to help his family with operations and this continued even during his national service. But Parker Restaurant isn't just about its warm family values and its filial son, it's an enclave of traditional Korean cuisine with recipes handed down through 2 generations back in South Korea.
